Frequently asked questions
Is anything uploaded?
No. Every tone is generated locally with the Web Audio API; nothing is uploaded or downloaded.
I hear the left tone on the right — what does that mean?
Your channels may be swapped in your OS/audio settings, or your headphones are on backwards. Check both.
I cannot hear the highest tones.
That can be normal — most adults cannot hear much above 15–17 kHz, and small speakers roll off the top end. Try headphones for the high tones.
Does it work offline?
Yes. As a PWA it works with no connection once loaded.
