Frequently asked questions
Is my audio uploaded?
No. The waveform, meter and short recording all stay in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
The meter does not move — what is wrong?
Check the browser allowed mic access, the right input device is selected in your OS, and the mic is not muted. Try refreshing and allowing permission again.
Why record only 3 seconds?
A short clip is enough to confirm your mic captures and plays back clearly before a call. The recording is discarded when you leave.
Does it work offline?
Yes. As a PWA it works with no connection once loaded.
