Video Player
betaA free video player for the files already on your device. Drop in MP4, WebM or OGV and play them with a playlist, adjustable speed, A–B section looping and picture-in-picture. You can load an .srt or .vtt subtitle file alongside the video and nudge its timing until it lines up, step a single frame at a time, and save any frame as a PNG. Your videos never leave your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Play your own video files — MP4, WebM, OGV — straight from your device. Add subtitles (.srt/.vtt), grab a frame as a PNG, loop a section, and play in picture-in-picture. Nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Videos play directly from your device — nothing is uploaded, which makes this safe for personal or confidential footage.
Which formats can it play?
Whatever your browser can decode — usually MP4 (H.264/AAC), WebM and OGV. MKV and AVI generally will not play; convert them with the Video Converter first.
Can I use my own subtitles?
Yes. Load an .srt or .vtt file and it is converted and attached to the video in your browser. If the timing is off, set a sync offset in seconds.
Can I grab a still image from the video?
Yes — pause on the frame you want (use , and . to step frame by frame) and click Save frame to download it as a PNG.
Does it work offline?
Yes. As a PWA it keeps working with no connection once loaded.
