Frequently asked questions
Is my geo file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and parsed locally in your browser, so it never leaves your device. Base map tiles come from OpenFreeMap, but your GeoJSON, GPX or KML data stays local.
Which file formats does it support?
It reads GeoJSON, GPX and KML files, and plots their points, lines and polygons together on one map.
How do I see a feature's attributes?
Click the feature on the map. Its properties appear in the panel underneath, listing each key and value from the file.
Can I change how the map looks?
Yes. Pick from the Style buttons to switch base maps, and the map follows your light or dark theme automatically.
