Frequently asked questions
How is THR calculated?
Employees with 12 or more months of continuous service receive one month’s wage. Those with 1–11 months receive a prorated amount: months worked ÷ 12 × monthly wage.
What counts as the monthly wage?
The base salary plus fixed allowances (upah pokok + tunjangan tetap). Non-fixed allowances are generally excluded.
Is anyone with under a month of service entitled?
No. THR entitlement begins at one continuous month of service.
