How to use iWork Viewer (Pages/Numbers/Keynote)
- 1 Drop your .pages, .numbers or .key file.
- 2 For a Keynote deck, move through the slides with the arrows, your keyboard’s arrow keys, or the strip of slide buttons below.
- 3 Slide one shows the picture Keynote saved; every other slide shows the text, tables and images it contains.
- 4 For Pages and Numbers, the built-in first-page preview is shown.
- 5 Open another file any time.
Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded?
No. The iWork file is unzipped and read in your browser, so its contents never leave your device.
Do I need a Mac or iWork?
No. It works on any device with a browser, including Windows and Android — no Apple software and no account.
Why is only the first slide a picture?
Apple saves a single preview image inside the file — a picture of the first slide. For every other slide the viewer reads the slide’s own data and shows its text, in the correct presentation order.
Can I see the full design of every slide?
Not from the .key file alone: the layout is stored in Apple’s private format. For a pixel-perfect copy, export the deck to PDF from Keynote and open that with our PDF viewer.
Why won’t my older file open?
Documents saved before ~2013, or exported without a preview, don’t contain the data this viewer needs. Re-save it from a newer iWork or export to PDF.
Does it work offline?
Yes. PDFPowerHub is a PWA, so once loaded the viewer works with no internet connection.
